Classic Album Review-Johnny Cash “Blood, Sweat, And Tears”
It's a popular misconception that the Beatles made the first concept album. In all actuality, concept albums, where all of the songs are related in some way, were being made before anyone even knew of the Fab Four. For instance, a perfect example is Johnny Cash's “Blood, Sweat, And Tears”, from 1963, an album full of songs that cover life experiences that involve blood, sweat, and tears.

Vintage Promotional Items
Do you remember when companies had promotional items? Gas stations, radio stations, seed corn companies are just some of those who were known for this. Some were free; others were sold inexpensively; a few things were even used as an incentive to buy a particular product. For instance, buying a John Deere tractor around 1980, resulted in sweatshirts for the whole family and sweat pants for me.
