Greetings from Asheville, where good music is always on the turntable. Or in this case, on the IPod in the vehicle.
As I noted in part 1, my 13 year old has no interest in current music, preferring to listen to classic sounds of yesterday. And there are times, when I am even surprised at her choices. For example, take today’s commute to school. The following 4 songs are what she played between the house and school.
Interesting mix, you say? Safe to say not too many 13 year olds would be into Paul Anka, Steppenwolf, Cyndi Lauper, and Cozy Cole. Then again, we might be surprised.
Saving vinyl, one record at a time.
